These boys knew I was a sucker for a lively song and broke out in a pleasant Nepal village "lok geet" whenever they came across me. I tipped rather generously I suspect, although they allways cajoled for more. The boy on the right is playing a "sarengi", the Nepali violin equivalent. The boys are of the "gainie" caste - musicians and fishermen by trade.
