Nepal, Machapuchare (”Fish’s Tail”)

Nepal, Machapuchare ("Fish's Tail")

Machapuchare (6,993 m/22,943 ft) or "Fish’s Tail" - mountain in the Annapurna Himal. Has never been climbed to its summit. Aroun 1957 Machapuchare has been declared sacred, and it is now forbidden to climbers.
