Dharahara

Oliphant posted a photo:

Dharahara

The Dharahara, or Bimsen Tower. Originally built in 1832 by Prime Minister Bhimsen Thapa for Queen Lalita Tripura Sundari. 50m high, 113 steps up to a shrine, one floor down there is a gallery with great views over Kathmandu.

Photo taken from a rooftop in Jochen Tole.
