Meet Aubrey and Niko. Aubrey was walking Niko through the park when I stopped them for a quick portrait. It was Aubrey’s black beret and his jewelry that grabbed my attention. "Where did you get your bracelet from," I asked.
"It’s from Nepal."
"You’ve been to Nepal? Kathmandu?" I have always wanted to travel to the Himalayas, and Kathmandu in particular.
"No, man, I’ve never been there, but that’s where the jewelry is from."
I asked Aubrey if I could take his photo with Niko for the 100 Strangers project. He was excited about being included. "Be sure to get Niko’s one blue eye," he told me.
