Nepal govt, Madhesi ink peace agreement; India welcomes (Outlook India) |
In a major breakthrough ahead of the crucial April 10 polls, Nepal government today signed a peace deal with a key agitating Terai group, accepting its major demand for an autonomous Madhes region for the ethnic Indian community, drawing immediate nod from India.
