Nepal govt in crisis as Terai ally quits (The Times of India) |
KATHMANDU: Given only three months by the Maoists, Nepal’s new communist-led ruling coalition received its first jolt on Friday, just after 11 days in power, with its regional ally, the Madhesi Janadhikar Forum (MJF), withdrawing support and announcing a bandh on Sunday as its first “battle cry” against the government of Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal.
