Within Lumbini Garden’s lush and pristine paradise, Siddhartha Gautama was born. Later, he would become Sakyamuni Buddha. On Sunday morning, members of the San Mateo Buddhist Temple celebrated his birth, which occurred more than 2,500 years ago.
