American author makes same Buddha blunder as 'Chandi Chowk to China' (IANS via Yahoo! India News) |
Kathmandu, Jan 24 (IANS) Even as public outrage erupted in Nepal over Bollywood film ‘Chandni Chowk to China’, which wrongly described India as the Buddha’s birthplace and was subsequently banned in the country, an American author has managed to get away with making the same mistake in her best-selling novel.
