Newspaper editor shot dead in Nepal (Japan Today)

KATHMANDU — A newspaper editor was fatally shot in southern Nepal on Saturday night, according to police. Puskar Shrestha, 60, who edited two local Nepalese-language weeklies, was shot around 9 p.m. by assailants riding a motorcycle in the town of Birgunj, according to the police.
